I took a risk by buying from an Indian eBay seller. I paid under , and the watch is beautiful, so I'm not mad even if this is fake. Can anyone confirm is all or some of this is fake/legit? I'm not . As to the pieces with an unsigned movement, they're total fakes with an FHF 96 or an Asian clone thereof. Theoretically, not buying from India doesn't save one from these watches, you just need to learn how to recognize them, as the Bombay fakers/redialers have "sales agents" in the UK, US, Canada.
I believe you can buy watches from India (I highly discourage anyone to do so) that will work just fine but don't think you are getting a real Citizen. They most likely are fake. I've seen the weirdest Oris watches being sold from India on eBay. Anyone have experience buying vintage watches from Ebay, especially from vendors in India? I've seen a lot of "vintage" automatic Tissot, Seiko, and Citizen watches selling for well under 0 from vendors in India. Are these watches kosher?
