It isn’t noticeable at all. If somehow you do get a transfer stain treat it quickly. Although some tpf'ers have reported issues with color transfer, I personally have not experienced this at all. As others have mentioned, the squares are an off-white color. I don't think I've seen any photos that accurately depict the true color, but if you can, definitely go to a boutique and have a closer look.
